I am a student of Cognitive Science at University of Hyderabad pursuing my internship and dissertation at the Centre for Consciousness Studies, NIMHANS. I am a computer science turned cognitive science student. I have developed a strong interest in the fields of Sense of Agency, BCI and Brain Age. I am a traveller and I travel often for treks and train journeys. I am primarily a rail enthusiast. Name any place in India and I can probably provide you the complete rail route to that place. I enjoy exploring varieties of cuisines, making pop-up cards for my close ones and recently I have developed an interest in writing blogs.
I did my schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. After that, I joined BSc Computer Technology at PSG College. Spending my three years exploring options in academia and beyond, I participated in various Hackathons, Paper Presentations, Poster Presentations and other non-technical events as well. I also served as a member in various social clubs like NSS and Rotaract. These experiences helped me to grow personally and professionally. During my bachelor's, I developed a deep interest in the field of cognitive science due to my exposure to NLP, Psychology and ML. After my bachelor's, I joined my master's in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Hyderabad.
On a typical day, I spend my time learning new skills that are needed for my field. I also practice meditation regularly to maintain my inner peace. I enjoy working with people who have passion and deep understanding of their work. I believe that we should understand what we are studying, whether it is academia, industry or any other domain. If we understand the phenomena happening around us, we can provide solutions in a better way. This is one of the lessons I learned from my hackathon experiences. I am someone who always wants to gain knowledge and skills.
